Angela Sun is an American journalist, presenter on television and sportscaster as well as a documentary film maker. Angela Sun, a journalist and sportscaster who has won awards for her work at Santa Clara County California was born October 19, 1979. She earned a degree in Sociology and Communications at the University of California. Sun's surfing skills were outstanding and she was a part of a number of pro-am events. She received sponsorship from major brands, such as Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. Recognition through these events was like rocket fuel that helped her get into the industry of entertainment. Sun, in the future, went on to become an actress, sportscaster investigative journalist and film director. Sun is a former anchor, who worked for numerous news networks. In 2003, she was an anchor for Fox Sports Net. In 2012 she hosted American Ninja Warrior with Matt Iseman as well as Jonny Moseley. Sun was host of The Yahoo Sports Minute from between 2014 and 2015. Sun was the very first Asian American to have her name featured on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports, Tennis Channel and Yahoo Sports. Sun is a well-known actor who has appeared in several films. Sun was the one who penned and produced the documentary Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch regarding ocean plastic pollution and its environmental effects in 2014, released the feature-length film.
