Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson in her full Kelly Brianne Clarkson was an American singer and songwriter who gained fame when she was the winner of American Idol's 2002 talent show. Clarkson was raised at Burleson, Texas, a suburb located in Fort Worth, where her singing talent was initially recognized by her school's choir teacher when she was a seventh grader. Following her graduation from high school Clarkson relocated for a visit to Los Angeles to try to get into the business world. The show was able to select her to compete on the Fox Broadcasting Corporation's American Idol singing competition, which allowed viewers the opportunity to vote for their preferred artist. Clarkson's personality, her voice and sense of humor instantly drew the attention by the viewers. She won $1million and a recording deal with RCA.
