Constance Marie

Constance Constance Marie Lopez, born September 9, 1965 [1] is an American actor from America. She is well-known for her role as Angie Lopez in George Lopez (2002-2007), and Marcela Quintanilla (mother of Selena) in the film Selena (1997). She was Regina Vasquez's character in the ABC Family/Freeform drama series Switched at Birth (2011-17). She is currently on Camila Diaz in the lead character in the Amazon Prime Video drama series Undone (1999). Marie started her acting career during her teenage years. She landed a spot in the film Salsa. Other credits on film and TV include Early Edition and Dirty Dancing, Selena and Spin City and Ally McBeal. Marie was chosen for the role as Angie Lopez in the ABC comedy series George Lopez. In 2001, Marie starred in the comedy-drama film Tortilla Soup alongside Hector Elizondo, Jacqueline Obradors, and Elizabeth Pena. Marie was also a character of the PBS drama American Family. In October 2007, she debuted her own clothing linecalled "The Constance Marie Collection". The actress also appeared in an advertisement for PETA that year , encouraging pet owners to spay/neuter their animals. 3 From 2011 until 2017 Marie was a major character in the drama series ABC Family/Freeform Switched at Birth, portraying Regina Vasquez, the birth mother of one of the girls as well as the legal mother of the other.
